The skill and experience to mediate the most complex and challenging disputes
A comprehensive system to manage intellectual property disputes occupies a critical place in international commerce. Mediation occupies a central place in the resolution of conflicts that arise in this often complex and ever-changing field. I attended the World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) advanced mediation training in Geneva, Switzerland, and have served on its panel of mediators. WIPO is a specialized agency of the United Nations dedicated to developing a balanced and accessible international intellectual property (IP) system, which rewards creativity, stimulates innovation and contributes to economic development while safeguarding the public interest. Central to its mission is the development of an alternative dispute resolution program that can provide accomplished mediators able to help resolve these unique conflicts. With this special training and my 30+ years of mediation experience, I offer the skills and background necessary to successfully mediate these uniquely challenging claims.
